Installation of Mechanical Device is always viewed as an easy job, but sometimes some incautious clash always causes unexpected damage on device, therefore, people are suggested to read the following installation method of planetary gearbox.
Step 1: Checking the conformity of mounting sides' dimensions between planetary gearbox and motor.
Step 2: Taking the black stopper out from the mounting adapter of the gearbox, then loosing the hexagonal bolt of input collar clamp (there're two hexagonal bolts inside) by hexagonal wrench.
Step 3: Taking the key away from the keyway of servo or step motor's output shaft if don't need it.
Step 4: Mounting the sertor or step motor, vertically, into the gearbox (please using any assistive deive to help or support the gearbox to be vertical for avoiding the gearbox output shaft to be damaged; This picture is just a schematic diagram.) by torque wrench (pleare refer the Tightening torque of screws).
Step 5: Tighten the hexagonal bolts of input collar clamp by hexagonal wrench, and pay attention that there're two(2) bolts need to be screwed.
Step 6: Now you complete the installation of gearbox and motor.
